Mr Serge Pun
Chairman, Serge Pun & Associates (Myanmar) Ltd
Mr Serge Pun founded First Myanmar Investment in 1992, shortly after his return to Myanmar. First Myanmar Investment became the first listed company on the Yangon Stock Exchange. Mr Pun has also led the successful Singapore listings of Yoma Strategic Holdings in 2006, and Memories Group in 2018. His three companies are known collectively as Yoma Group, and have businesses in banking and financial services, real estate, automotive, agriculture, tourism, consumer services, and healthcare.
In 2018, he was appointed to be Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of New Yangon Development Co Ltd, an entity wholly owned by the Yangon Regional Government, responsible for the development of the New Yangon City.
Ms Mei Mei Chua
Ms Mei Mei Chua is the Managing Director, The Keier Group - Myanmar’s first fully-furnished, and well-equipped serviced office provider. In 2018, Keier expanded its service offering with Keier Residence, which provides fully-furnished rental apartments.
Upon graduation, Ms Chua joined her family business Beauty Palace in 2008, a pioneering Myanmar Personal Care company. Under her leadership, Beauty Palace grew from a local diversified FMCG player into a sustainable and branded Personal Care Company. In 2015, she fronted a successful international joint venture to form United Beauty Palace Myanmar Co., Ltd.
Ms Chua currently serves as one of the board members of Thant Sin Metta, a Non-Government Organisation which focuses on the widespread reach of the WASH (Water And Sanitisation and Hygiene) programme in Myanmar. She also funds social projects and provides an education fund for ethnic orphans.
Ms Chua graduated from Singapore Management University in 2007, with a Bachelor of Business Management (cum laude), majoring in both Marketing and Management.
Mr Ronald Lee
Mr Ronald Lee graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Finance. Upon graduation, he joined a trust fund as an Investment Analyst specialising in global equities and real estate. In 2010, Mr Lee moved to Myanmar to join his family business, City Mart Holding Co. Ltd. Founded in 1996, the group is Myanmar’s leading retailer with operations in retail, F&B and commercial properties. His first role at City Mart Holdings was to lead the project management division of the group’s property arm.
He now oversees the development of City Mart Holding’s technology initiatives, notably its e-commerce, loyalty and mobile e-wallet platforms. He is constantly searching for opportunities to apply innovative technologies to enable the group to better serve its customers.
Mr Wai Phyo
Mr Wai Phyo is the Managing Director of Yathar Cho Industry Ltd., one of the largest food manufacturing companies in Myanmar. Yathar Cho's group of companies include food manufacturer, Cho Cho Industry Ltd; Myanmar Zarla Distribution, one of the largest nationwide distribution companies; Parama Technologies, which is involved in the IT space; and OneLink Technologies, which is an e-commerce company.
He is one of the Vice Presidents of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry; a founding President of the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association; and Founder of the Young Presidents' Organisation Yangon Chapter. He previously served as Vice President of the Myanmar Industries Association, and was the Myanmar representative member on the ASEAN Business Advisory Council. Mr Wai Phyo is also a 2017 Eisenhower Fellow.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Washington D.C.; and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and University of California Los Angeles.
Ms Kyi Kyi Win
Ms Kyi Kyi Win is a Director of Diamond Great Wall Trading, a Burmese commodities company known for its sugar supplies. In April 2014, Great Wall Food Stuff Industry entered into a joint-venture partnership with Wilmar Sugar to supply sugar and sugar by-products. The company also has a subsidiary which holds one of the four licensed dealerships for the distribution of Toyota vehicles in Myanmar.
Ms Win is an SMU alumna, having graduated from SMU in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Finance-International Trading.
Ms Evelyn Khin
Founder and Managing Director, Forever Travel & Tours Co., Ltd
Ms Evelyn Khin is the Founder and Managing Director of Forever Travel and Car Rental Company, leading the way in sustainable tourism and setting high service standards within Myanmar's travel industry. She plays a crucial role at Forever Corporation Co., Ltd, elevating its status as a premier coastal sea freight provider. Ms Khin was also honoured with the Women of the Future Award Southeast Asia in the business category.
Ms Khin is an active member of the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA) where she supports the growth of young entrepreneurs. She also serves as the President of the Singapore Management University's Myanmar Alumni Chapter (SMU MAC).
